Starting either at St Peter's Church or near the pub, this walk is a mixture of mostly footpaths and by-ways. Visiting Birds Marsh Wood, passing listed farmhouses and Kilvert's Parsonage. When crossing the road from St Peter's Church, be careful to walk on the left side until reaching the by-way or, if you'd prefer to walk along a narrow country Lane, press on to Jacksoms Lane.

Then down into the Wood and cross the fields past Barrow Farm. Crossing the road, you'll walk past Kilvert's Parsonage and cross the style by Common Farm. Making your way back to St Peter's you will go past the Old Schoolhouse and the Village Pound next to Pound Cottage.
