The longest walk, starting either at St Peter’s Church, the Pub or Peckingells, a figure-of-8 loop with a mix of footpaths with styles and a short stretch of road. Encompasses all on Walks 1 and 2. That is both St Peter’s Church and the Church of St Giles at opposite ends of this walk, in between you will pass all the Village’s Listed Buildings and those off the main road, together with Kilvert’s Parsonage, both Peckingell farmhouses and the Green Bridge.
Then on to open fields beside the River Avon, Kellaways houses and walking along the Maud Heath Causeway before taking a footpaths from The Steamer (an old pub that served the men building the railway), past Manor Farm (no admittance to the property please as this is a working farm), behind Langley House Estate to St Peter’s Church.
